I came to Kira after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and not knowing where to start. I was experiencing terrible fatigue, pain and other symptoms that just wouldn’t go away. I had multiple tests done and went thru the agonizing process of trying to find a diagnosis. Eventually I was told that I had autoimmune hepatitis and a high dose of steroids was needed. While she advised me to see a functional medicine doctor for nutritional testing (a wonderful suggestion by the way), she also had me make some major modifications to my diet (following the autoimmune paleo protocol) while I awaited an appointment. After seeing the doctor and having a food-allergy test, the results came back as high-gluten intolerance/Celiac-related patient. Without Kira's expertise, I would have continued eating gluten and been on steroids. Turns out none were necessary! In addition, Kira has found amazing ways to change up my daily meals and I feel better than ever.

Now about a year later I have dropped 15 pounds and my body fat is only 20%. Not only am I physically fit, but eating healthy comes easily and is now a normal part of my lifestyle. My energy level is consistently high, and I am happy about how I look and feel.
